(Please email admin@doran.studio for requests)Art and Photography (week of July 6, week of July 27):
Young artists will explore the world through a lens and turn their photos into unique works of art. Each camper will use a digital camera to capture images around town—finding beauty in everyday moments, textures, and details. Back in the studio, we’ll transform their favorite shots into photo collages, mixed media pieces, and make sun prints (weather permitting!). Alongside photography, campers will enjoy fun hands-on art activities that spark creativity and help them see the world in new ways. This camp is perfect for curious kids who love to explore, create, and express themselves visually!Painting and Printmaking(week of July 13, week of Aug 3):
Get ready to roll, stamp, and press your way through a week of creative fun! In our Painting and Printmaking Camp, young artists will explore the exciting world of printmaking through hands-on projects designed just for kids. Campers will experiment with a variety of techniques, including a variety of paintings, Lego printing, marbled paper, collagraphs, sun prints (weather permitting), and even a bit of urban texture printing during our outdoor time! Each day brings a new opportunity to play with textures, shapes, and colors while making one-of-a-kind artwork. Perfect for curious creators who love to try new things, make a little mess, and express themselves through art. No experience needed—just bring your imagination!Diorama/Miniature Camp (week of July 20):
In our Diorama and Miniature Camp, young makers will become the architects of their own tiny universes. Using a mix of recycled materials, clay, paint, and found objects, campers will design and build intricate 3D scenes—ranging from whimsical fairy gardens and futuristic space stations to realistic tiny rooms. This camp is perfect for detail-oriented builders and imaginative storytellers who love to work with their hands and bring miniature worlds to life!
Throughout the art camp, kids will dive into a variety of exciting art projects, including drawing, painting, crafting, and more! Plus, when the weather’s nice, we’ll head to Rossi Park for some outdoor creativity and fun in the fresh air.
